Program Introduction

Change is part of the nature of the health and social care sector, managers must be prepared to facilitate and often instigate change where necessary. This qualification is designed for managers entering a more senior position and being exposed to new types of information and decisions.

By completing this qualification, learners will gain skills that enable them to work alongside other health and social care professionals to achieve organisational objectives.

 

Eligibility

Academic Requirements

  • Minimum 19 years old
  • Higher NITEC/’A’ Level/Diploma

Language Requirements

  • ‘O’ Level English

 

Structure and Duration

  • 4 Modules
  • Minimum 6 months, Part-time
  • 2 evenings per week, 6:45pm – 9:45pm
  • Full-time study is not available

 

Assessment Methods

Direct assessment is based on written assignment includes Essays, Case Studies, Critical Reviews and Research Papers.

 

Delivery Method

Classroom based.

 

Graduation Requirements

  • Achieve a minimum 60 credits and earn a Pass in each subject.
  • Students will be conferred ATHE Level 5 Diploma in Management for Health and Social Care upon completion, awarded by Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE), United Kingdom.
