What is a WSQ course?

A Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) is a training and certification credential that trains, develops, assesses, and certifies workforce skills and competencies. As a continuing education and training (CET) system, WSQ supports the SkillsFuture movement to promote the recognition of skills and competencies, support holistic and economic development, and instil a passion for lifelong learning. The credentials earned are awarded by SkillsFuture Singapore, making it a renowned recognition by Workforce Singapore and the industry.

How can you benefit from WSQ courses?

As the workforce becomes more competitive in an increasingly digitalised world, it is easy to fall behind, However, sometimes upskilling may be all you need to brush up on your credentials, improve your career prospects, and emerge relatively unscathed in the global retrenchment and restructuring landscape.

If you are looking to sharpen your competitive edge, consider enrolling in a WSQ course to help you plan your career and learn new skills, allowing you to advance in your current industry or even enter a new sector or job role. These new skills can be demonstrated to potential employers, proving that you are a valuable asset who adds value to the workplace. Above all, Workforce Singapore ensures the quality of WSQ from the development of competency standards to the accreditation of training providers to the awarding of its qualifications.
