All our lecturers are selected based on their subject expertise, experience and dedication.They are required to possess at least a Masters in their subject expertise. With their years of work experience, they will also be able to illustrate topics taught in class with real world examples. Currently, we have about 40 adjunct lecturers. About

Mr. Richard is a registered Psychotherapist in private practice and a Training Consultant with wide experience. He has worked extensively with Corporate companies (Motorola, National Panasonic, Fujitsu, etc), international agencies (The Salvation Army, YMCA, World Vision, etc.), welfare organizations and community institutions (Singapore Sports Council, People’s Association, NACLI, family service center). He also provides interpersonal skills training at leadership level, cognitive and EQ enhancement, communication and motivation skills for management staff and psychological profiling. He lectures in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in change management and creative human relations.

About

Mick Chong has been serving the immigration sector for at least a decade. His professional experience lies in intelligence analysis and law enforcement. Some of the highlights of his career include being a speaker at the West Coast Asian Crime Investigators Conference in Canada, involved in major and successful anti- smuggling operations, and seconded the Asian Organised Crime Section of the Provincial Coordinated Law Enforcement Unit. His academic experience includes Criminal Justice courses, instructed prison security inmates and developed undergraduate curriculum.

About

Suki has been active in education work with children for more than 10 years. Currently, she
provides psycho-education and training with emphasis on cultivating mental, emotional and interpersonal skills as the base for enhancing and enriching school, family and vocational life. Sheis also an experienced educator in the area of special needs. She works extensively with children with autistic tendencies and learning disabilities. Suki is an established facilitator and provides rehabilitation training for adults and adolescents. In addition, Suki is a lecturer in Psychology programs for various universities.

Suki is also a child and adolescent counsellor. She attends to children requiring psychological help. She has worked effectively with children and adolescents from different nationalities in dealing with stress at school, behavioural problems, depression and anxiety.

Ms. Joanna Yeo had worked as a case manager, counselor and programme organizer for inmates and pre-release group counseling, as well as performing case assessment (post-release and environment/financial assessment) at the Kaki Bukit Center (Prison School).

She had also worked with the Ministry of Home Affairs as a Senior Officer (Rehabilitation Officer 1). Her responsibilities included inmate management, Work Release Scheme/Home Detention reports and operations within Housing Units. She also worked with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Singapore Boys’ Home Rehabilitation officer (Programme & Casework) to counsel, organize and conduct programmes for residents, and to give presentation of cases in Juvenile, Family and Subordinate courts. She had worked at the Singapore Police Force (Operations, Licensing Department) to review the Massage Establishment Act.

Presently, she is a lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and UniSIM.

About

Ms Kaveri is an Associate Lecturer in AEC Edu Group, teaching in the program Certificate in Preschool Education. She was also a tutor at the National University of Singapore, tutoring in the subject Sociology.

About

Karen-Ann has worked in the Ministry of Community Development and Sports as a Senior Probations Officer & Aftercare Officer. She served as a Counselor in many organisations and also in the Ministry of Education. She also worked as a Counselor for the Kobe Kansei Hospital providing talks and seminars for teachers and parents at the international schools.
